Giannis being traded will suck for two reasons:
1. It will mean Shams and the Big Market Media won
2. Giannis in another uniform, especially MIA or BOS, will make me sick
The Mavs and Stars leaving the AAC in downtown Dallas is interesting to me. I don't know DFW geography, but I've been to the AAC once and it was very nice. Why is this happening? I don't understand it.
Mark Vientos was an experiment that went bad. He can’t field. He can’t run. He can’t hit. And he thinks he is great at all of those things. Jared young is much more productive and should get the playing time. Vientos trade value is virtually non existent but he needs to be moved off this team ASAP. He just isn’t good and his lack of self awareness makes it worse. He is very good at exaggerating his accomplishments on instagram. So that’s one thing. @Mets
It’s weird to me how Jokic is only two (2) months younger than Giannis and Denver is in such a bad spot financially and just very clearly a ways behind OKC and SA and you just never hear a word about his future
The newly-adopted NBA draft lottery format is a farce.
You can read “Gone with the Wind” faster than deciphering all the stupid stipulations in it.
The NBA revised the draft lottery format primarily because several teams were blatantly tanking.
Well, guess what?
NFL teams have tanked forever as well and the league has never felt compelled to change its draft format, where each team picks in reverse order relative to its record the previous season.
The NFL has had this format since 1936 — yes, 1936 — and, not only is anyone complaining about it, but the league continues to thrive at a level unmatched by any other sports entity on the planet.
If the roles were reversed: Giannis was on Miami (as was Rollins/Green) and Milwaukee had the Heat roster would everyone be saying that Milwaukee had the best offer and Giannis had to leave?
