@DanielGScouting I just see Dylan Cozens Quinton Byfield when I watch him a big, fast, but 50 point guy. The market seems to get attached to high picks with bc ties the media gets behind. I'd never pass on Stenberg McKenna or carels for him. If you do there passing highlights much more impressive
@PaulBanwait1@CanucksArmy You should draft on talent unless a player has attitude issues. Predicting 200 foot player and being a leader among 17 year olds often leads to bad draft picks. Take the most talented player especially at 3.
@DhaliwalSports@DonnieandDhali Can the media stop with the Malhotra hype train a guy like carels is a better player this will be a mistake. It's being looked at like Caleb has to be the guy for van and fans who don't follow the draft are now convinced he has to be the guy. He is not not bpa available at 3.
@pavelcapital@ThomasDrance@jabo_vancouver I'd argue a small sample size and hot few weeks of playoffs is not typically reliable when looking at draft eligible kids. It's much better to look at a bigger sample size. Like world Juniors some players like Casey mittlestadt dominated. You need a larger sample.
@ThomasDrance@jabo_vancouver A last place team can't be satisfied with a good player we need the absolute best pick available. Malhotra because some media has got behind him and he's 6'3, BC ties, center, has been heavily promoted in this market where it's turned into group think. Carels or sten should be 3rd
@davehall1289 He was agm of the team I don't know what more you want? Is RJ a buddy of yours like some in the media how you defend him? Sure he's never been gm but he was agm and part of the last place team. This is the dumbest conversation I have been in on Twitter
@davehall1289 Also do some research on Evan gold and why people got behind them it wasnt cause he was a fresh new name he was a progressive outside voice well educated and took an analytical approach if you think people just wanted a new voice they wouldn't have got mad about Dorian.
@twentfwedwic@flyfishersteven@davehall1289 Willie Desjardins won an AHL championship as a coach we seen how he was in over his head running the bench in the NHL level, it's a whole new ball game.
@davehall1289 What do you mean none of his decisions had to do with Canucks? As AGM you think he only did Abby stuff? I'm totally lost with your argument are you one of rj's media buddies?
@davehall1289 Lol that is not for the sake of change, teams promote from within when they are successful they don't do it when your the worst and part of that mess. You could apply your definition of sake of change to literally anything it's so broad and wrong.
@SargentJason11@flowlol13@RussoHockey So we're sure he has a broken bone and they were letting him try to skate on that? That was confirmed in the media?
@peranic97@davehall1289 Doesn't mean he will either, I get fans some want to "believe" but they will need to show us quickly with action this is not a middling team this is a last place franchise..
@davehall1289 Teams promote and grow from within like Colorado or Florida when your elite, last place teams don't reshuffle the deck on the Titanic and promote assistant gm's who were part of the mess.
@fr_aquilini way to go reshuffling the same cast of characters for a last place team. More of the same. Fans wanted a new face with new ideas but instead we got the same group. It's highly unusual that a last place team promotes from within. Good luck selling this to most fans.
@SargentJason11@flowlol13@RussoHockey Wait he has a broken bone? I thought he skated a few days ago and they were saying he could play once the series went back home?
