Agender, they/them/he/him are all fine.
Leftist.
Not a huge Twitter user, created this account for the game website I wrote/reviewed for. Pro Wrestling nerd.
If @BackupHangman and @KXNGAO left this site for BlueSky permanently there wouldn't be any reason to pop in and check in on this place. The Space was good. If anyone who follows me are still in this miserable fascist hellscape and want to follow me on BlueSky here is my profile.
Open this up to post that you can literally double your followers and they will be real people by jumping ship early and of course the first thing I see is slurs on my timeline.
Every day my profile grows bigger than the one here. Yall should hop early cause this place is losing real users at a rapid pace and soon you're just going to be yelling at ChatGPT 🤖s posing as real people baiting you into engaging with them.
I'm definitely going to pass the amount of followers here lol yall should hop over to bring friends and maybe connect with new folks. Way less toxic than this cesspool.
Bernie Sanders, in response to Trump’s win:
“It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them.” https://t.co/RWLah16esu
This is a writer for USA TODAY, Guardian, Huffington Post, and NY Daily News. All major mainstream media outlets and he’s proudly proclaiming that there are no lessons to be learned and that it’s the people’s fault.
No takeaways to be made from the blue wall completely collapsing and all going red. No takeaways to be made from the working class saying the Democrats don’t represent them anymore. No introspection to be done about Muslim voters reciprocating the middle finger that the Harris campaign gave them. No reflection on why Latinos shifted right.
HuffPost. Daily News. USA Today. Lying to the people and telling them that a campaign ran on Genocide, Centrism, condescension, Liz Cheney, and Beyoncé is a campaign that the people were wrong for not identifying with.
This. Is. The. Problem.
You’re being lied to by people that don’t live your day to day lives. People that don’t understand you. People that don’t realize that you’re living paycheck to paycheck.
This is the problem.
"Democracy" may not have been a salient pitch because Americans don’t hold it sacred right now. There’s been no broad, material social program passed for people in said "democracy" in the neoliberal era. Really since Medicare.
It engenders political nihilism, and that’s Trump.
im confused, we're all in agreement that trump spells chaos and disorder - but shouldn't we blame the party that lost handily to him again by running the same "tack to the moderate right" strategy which demonstrably failed? or the pundits who led ppl astray?
It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them.
While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change.
And they’re right.
