@theoldzealand Donovan was right in saying the contact was coming regardless of whether he flops so he’s kind of protecting himself in the same action. I feel this needs to be taken into account when determining if it is a yellow for flopping.
@Graham_Stewart5@clockendsniper Arsenal have mostly improved players contracts internally. Saliba came in as a child and went on loan twice, came back and was rewarded with a new contract after performing well. There’s many examples of this in the squad, but obviously last 2 years needed ready-made players.
@EBL2017 Am I the only one that notices we give up so many more chances with him on the pitch than off? He’s not at the level required. If he wants to be Jorginho and sit on the bench as squad unc that’s fine but that’s the only role he should play
I’m going to be insufferable in summer… not because I’m an “Arsenal fan” but because in the past 3 years I have witnessed…
- Liverpool fans holding a banner of Arteta dressed as a woman “Never the bride”
- Tottenham celebrate their team losing to City at home
- Haaland “Stay Humble”
- David Bentley break into Arteta’s office, take his beer and mock Arsenal because Spurs won Europa
- Slot, Hurzeler, Ten Hag, Amorim etc… complain about Arsenal’s style of football & claim that they should’ve won matches against us
- Rival fans say Arsenal don’t deserve to win the prem because they’re not “entertaining”
- Liverpool fans “drinking Arsenals tears” at a parade
- Constant calls of being “bottlejobs” from rival fans
- The silly culture of watch alongs from fans who gain fame from hating on Arsenal when their teams aren’t even in the title race or rivals of Arsenals (Kee Thomas I’m talking to you)
- Second again chants at stadiums.
- Gary Neville constantly berating our club, when he’s praising other teams for doing the same
- Jamie Carragher saying “Get down the tunnel” for a simple celebration
- Man City fans talking about “We’re breathing down on you”
- Lastly, every time we win people tell us to shut up & run online narratives because it’s Arsenal but praise other clubs for doing the same…
And I’m sure I’ve missed some.
So don’t judge Arsenal fans when we’re out n about in London with kits on. When the trophy parade shuts down the entirety of North London & Northwest London. We deserve this.
@HenryBushnell@TheAthleticFC Anyone complaining hasn’t experienced summers in many of the most populous parts of America. It gets so humid sweat is useless for cooling and hydration is essential for player safety.
@richy_goonerr “At times it seemed as tight as a chess match so no surprise that Eberechi Eze comes up with the defining play” But it seems you’ve found the solution to waiting 5 seconds
@gooner_jerry For me it’s a combo of letting them come onto us therefore deflected pass goes right back to them, followed by Gabriel being weak when pushed and raya misreading. Really just unlucky all that happened in one play but we needed more control there.
@AssasinofEire@RobbieClemence @ShalliVibes @UTDTrey Club honours: won the championship 2013-2014. Won Prem 2015-2016 they almost got relegated in 2014-2015
@TakeFlight211@Rory_Talks_Ball If this is what you think of Arsenal you don’t watch them play. Arsenal are the most attacking team in the prem. Highest defensive line, lowest defensive line faced, very compact field with little space to score. But that’s why they never concede shots on target they’re so good
