Having agents at every polling unit is the most important thing a political campaign should be working on right now.

INEC’s deadline for submitting agent names is only three months away.

Agent mobilisation and recruitment should not be based solely on loyalty. Agents should be properly incentivised, and technology should be deployed to manage the process.

Pay 25% once an agent is onboarded, 25% after they show up at their polling unit on election morning and are geotagged within the area, then pay the remaining 50% immediately after they upload a copy of Form EC8A to the candidate’s portal.

There should also be redundancies: backup agents for polling units and a live operations team that immediately follows up where an agent has not checked in.

By election morning, the campaign should already be able to see exactly how many agents it has on the ground and where it has representation.

No middlemen. No “leader” disappearing with agents’ money on election day. Payments should move directly from the campaign to the agents.

2 Receive a job offer and sign your contract. Once you’re offered a job, your employer will provide a WORK CONTRACT or invitation letter.

3 Your employer applies for a work permit. They will submit your application to the Lithuanian Employment Service, which usually takes between two to four weeks.

4 Apply for the National D Visa
Once your WORK PERMIT is approved, visit the Lithuanian embassy to apply for your visa.

1. Valid passport
2. Work permit or employment contract
3. Proof of accommodation in Lithuania
4. Health insurance

5 Attend your visa interview
