@ibrhr33@buaalicious -your mileage may vary if you have have a physically demanding job.
I used to work construction and my workouts had a fraction of the intensity they do now, but that was still better than not working out at all. Just try your best, it doesn't take much to get good resultsπ
@ibrhr33@buaalicious Ignore my first response, I misread you tweet.
Maybe eat a bigger lunch or try to mealprep at home and have a small meal before your workout? I also pushed my coffee break closer to the end of the workday to benefit from the caffein in my workout. I do have a cushy desk job so-
@ibrhr33@buaalicious I make a big pot of bullshit (like chili) on sunday and then just reheat portions during the week. Sides like rice and pasta can idly cook while I'm in the shower.
Otherwise cooking would be 30-45mins everyday coming out of my free time which I don't want to sacrifice. I like it
@TheCupidKid@JoeLongBalls Ahhhh, now I see. You're saying it's an indicator of their current mental state and their outlook on the future.
3 out of 6 of my close friends (including myself) don't really celebrate their birthday, so I guess I wasn't thinking outside of my bubble. But I get you point now!
@mae_lgv@JoeLongBalls I just thought it a little extreme to think that a coworker would do #it just because no one knew about his birthday which he intentionally didn't share. I also really wanted to use utter woke nonsense in a sentence.
@TheCupidKid@JoeLongBalls all I'm saying is that it might be a little bit of a stretch to assume that the last straw of that person was that no one congratulated him. Or that being seen like that completely changed his outlook on life. Either way it was a very nice gestureπ
@zosafinaa@JoeLongBalls my first assumption would've been that he's just not the type of person who wants to "celebrate" his birthday in the workplace / doesn't see his coworkers as friends. Maybe he gave of a lonely vibe and OP really did make his day but again, that wouldn't have been my first thought
