I'm writing a post about these 2 on discord. Me and my friend eon were unfortunately scammed out of $300+ each by these 2 people who claimed they had a room at Anthrocon

The pictured man is who Cringe claims to be. His name is Sergio Robles. Eon tried contacting chime to reverse the charges but they couldn't do anything. If anyone knows anything else we can try or knows these two individuals please let me know.

When we got to the Hampton, the staff said there was no reservation under this person's name. Thankfully they had availability so we were able to get a room and sleep for the night. Sadly we have to take it day by day to see if there are any cancelations.

The second person claimed he wanted to throw a room party and wanted money from us to subsidize food and drinks. He convinced eon to give him more for that. I had no interest and i did not give anything. These 2 were both responsive until the day of the con and then went silent.

Cringe is the main aggressor. The theory goes that he made a legit reservation for Hampton Inn, took a screenshot BEFORE he paid for it (because there was no confirmation number) and used that to gain our trust and collect money from us.
