This is what a hospital in Kherson looks like after a russian drone strike.
A place meant to heal and save lives — deliberately hit.
They bombed a hospital.
That alone says everything.
This is not World War II footage.
This is Toretsk, Ukraine — and it’s not as far away as you think.
A city that once had over 30,000 residents. Now almost completely erased.
There is no excuse for this. None.
In Vovchansk community of Kharkiv region 2 men, aged 54 and 59, were killed in Russian drone strike on the tractor they were in‼️
Why? Just why??? Bastards.
Druzhkivka was hit with three FAB-250 bombs. russians killed 3 civilians.
This is how Vyshyvanka Day is marked in Ukraine.
We celebrate identity and beauty — they bring death.
This is not a “conflict.” It is the deliberate extermination of the Ukrainian people.
The hell of Irpin — what russian occupation looks like.
33-year-old Maksym Gurinov and his wife Yana were a young, loving couple — shy, kind, always smiling, always together.
In March 2022, they tried to evacuate their six-month-old daughter Daryna from Irpin.
The first attempt failed. They came under russian fire and turned back.
The second time, russians opened fire on their taxi on Universytetska Street.
Maksym covered Yana with his body. Yana covered little Daryna with hers.
All three were killed in the back seat of the car.
A family that simply wanted to live.
Remember their names.
And never forgive the russian murderers who did this.
Two Sisters. Twelve and Seventeen. Buried Together in Kyiv Today.
Liubava was 12. Vira was 17. This morning they were laid to rest side by side in Kyiv, killed along with 22 others when a Russian missile struck the residential building where they lived.
Their father, Yevhen Yakovlev, was killed in combat in 2023 defending Ukraine. He never came home. Now their mother has lost her husband, her daughters, and her home.
One family. Completely gone.
When we talk about missile strikes on residential buildings, we are talking about this. Not infrastructure. Not statistics. Families. Children who had names, ages, futures. A mother who now has none of them.
Russia does not accidentally hit apartment buildings. It targets them.
Remember Liubava and Vira.
APPLEBAUM: Russia's war in Ukraine is sometimes described, including recently by American Vice President, as if it were nothing more than territorial dispute, kind of scuffle over lines on map.
But when Russia denies that Ukraine is a real nation, builds concentration camps on Ukrainian territory, bans Ukrainian language and systematically arrests mayors, teachers, journalists, and priests, then Russia is also attacking Europe that was built after 1945, Europe whose borders are not supposed to be changed by force.
Russia invaded Ukraine not only to destroy Ukraine but also to prove that treaties are meaningless, alliances are weak, and brute force still decides fate of nations.
By waging imperial war of conquest, Russia seeks to undermine Europe's post-imperial order.
This is how Ukrainians welcome their defenders home after Russian captivity.
No one here is paid. These are ordinary people who came out in the cold, heat and just to wave a flag, cheer, and say “welcome home” to those who defended their country.
