They occupy positions meant to defend human rights, protect victims, and uphold universal principles. Instead, they have dehumanised, delegitimised, and dismissed the experiences of Jewish victims, compounding the suffering of those they were duty-bound to support and protect.

The irony is awe-inspiring…Day after day, more disturbing details emerge about the involvement of UNRWA personnel in the atrocities of 7 October. One might expect accountability, introspection, or even a simple acknowledgement of the profound failures that followed.

Instead, we continue to witness the dehumanisation, dismissal, and vilification of the victims themselves.
How much longer will the world tolerate an institution that demands accountability from everyone except itself?

She doesn’t know about the rockets. She won’t acknowledge the rape. She can’t look a survivor in the eye.

So what exactly is Reem Alsalem the UN’s expert in? Because it isn’t violence against women. Ask Ilana Gritzewsky, who stood in that chamber as living proof and got silence in return.

People keep asking how the UN could sit in silence while a survivor described being raped in captivity.

The honest answer: this is what the UN is now. An institution that hands “human rights expert” badges to people who deny atrocities, as long as the victims are the right kind of victim. The moral authority is gone. All that’s left is the letterhead.

At the IRGC-backed Ashoura March in Toronto, I peacefully held a sign with the Iranian heroes killed by the IRGC, and the other side told them that all terrorists need to be deported. Just like I had to deport a jihadist from my personal space 😁.

בסוף השבוע הזה אני נמצא בלונדון בכנס של הקהילות היהודיות הליברליות באירופה, ובסדרה של פגישות עם חברי פרלמנט וגורמים ממשרד החוץ הבריטי.

הפגישה הראשונה שלי הייתה עם חבר הפרלמנט מארק סיוארדס, שעומד בראש אגודת הידידים של ישראל במפלגת הלייבור. בן היתר, שוחחנו על המצב בארץ ועל מה שמתרחש בשטחים, ברצועת עזה ובלבנון. דיברנו גם על המאבק באנטישמיות ובגילויי אלימות כלפי יהודים בבריטניה, ובמאבק בדה-לגיטימציה לקיומה של ישראל.

מן הצד האחד, שמעתי ממנו על ההדרדרות החריפה והמדאיגה מאד במעמדה של ישראל בפוליטיקה הבריטית בארבע השנים האחרונות. מן הצד השני שמעתי ממנו גם עד כמה ממשלה חדשה שתיקח יוזמה בתחום המדיני תביא לשינוי חד.

העובדה שלשני שרים בכירים בממשלת ישראל, חברי קבינט, אסור להיכנס לבריטניה, צריכה להדאיג כל ישראלי. כל מי שמבין משהו על הפוליטיקה הבריטית יודע שאין לזה שום קשר לאנטישמיות ולאנטי-ישראליות, אלא רק לעובדה ששני השרים הללו - סמוטריץ׳ ובן גביר - מעניקים רוח גבית לאלימות, לגזענות וללאומנות.

מדהים שעד לרגע זה לא מונה שגריר חדש למדינה החשובה הזו.
