At least three monks died when a building in Mandalay collapsed during Friday’s quake, but more than 55 have been rescued so far, said a rescue team member. Nationwide the death toll from the quake has passed 1,000, junta media said. #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar
There are two things impacting us that are not visible to int’l media -
1. Internet access - Junta needs to reopen internet access in many regions and remove the blockage of sites like Facebook and Twitter.
2. Medical doctors - many medical doctors remain in prison even in Mandalay.
