Whenever I am on wards, I feel oddly centered. It's as if taking care of the sick reminds me of what is actually important. Life is not about what we look like or what we've accomplished, its that we are here and fighting onwards. I love this feeling
🌵 #DoubleDocs Student Spotlight: @SVMenghani Sanjay joined us in 2016. He’s from New Jersey & went to UPenn to study Econ and Biochem. After graduating, he spent a year at the NIH. He is interested in IM and ID.
Congrats to our aspiring #cardiologist, PGY3 Dr. @Sharanyah on her recent publication “Edoxaban in Cardiovascular Disease Management: Review.” Great collab with @UAZHeart Drs. Ajmal/Lassar. Hard work pays off.

Fired up my old laptop from 2008. Found a word file titled “jokes” and, uh, I just want to say, if you have a hobby, keep working at it you’ll get better
Today I taught some really great MS1's at @UAZMedTucson on their second day of medical school!! They were kind, eager to learn, and had a great sense of humor (or maybe just felt obligated to laugh at my jokes??) we'll never know...keep it up admissions🙃

Honored to play a role in the mass vaccination against COVID19. It was such a privilege to meet these essential workers!
If you haven't already, educate yourself and go #GetVaccinated

If you watched the Mars landing today, the voice you heard was @DrSwatiMohan. She immigrated to the US from India at age 1, was inspired by Star Trek at 9, then earned a B.S from Cornell in mechanical and aerospace engineering, and an M.S. and Ph.D from MIT in aeronautics.
Anyone else in tears because we have no ability to bring @NASAPersevere back home once the job is done??What about robot retirement ???#NASAPerseverance#Mars2020
