Nosotros sabemos perfectamente todo lo que luchó antes de por fin tener su ciclo ganador tan merecido que no habrá campaña en su contra que haga que eso se me olvide ni durante un segundo ni que le quite un mínimo del brillo y mérito que se merece. Qué camino tan duro, tan difícil, tan injusto diría. Pero su talento, su mentalidad y su grandeza pudieron con todo y pudo ganar todo lo que se merecía aunque probablemente se mereciese bastante más. Pero bueno, las mejores historias necesitan de drama, de épica y de ir contra la adversidad y aún así salir vencedor y eso es exactamente lo que logró Messi con su selección y lo que, sumado a lo que hizo para el Barça, le confirman como el deportista más grande que hemos tenido la suerte de vivir
