Unaoshwa once unajam bois? My boy heyz aliuza gari ya 2m pale Ngara, kuenda kuitisha commission akaulizwa ako na maskio ngapi, jamaa akasema mbili, hivo ndio alipewa a clean 2k. In this business you will meet good people and crooks, usichoke mzee.
Mine got an accident at 11 months. The driver called and asked I check WhatsApp. I saw the truck upside down. I flipped the phone wondering why he took photos upside down. My seat mate at the bar shouted "haiya Nani ameangusha gari mpya". It dawned on me. Pombe ilishuka yote.
The life of a man lazima ikuwe na failures whether you like it or not because at one point, you will make mistakes. So don’t beat up yourself or become suicidal when things go south. Tulia, assess situation and remember? Its never too late to start again wiser.
Hello Stranger, Called Jaymoh, allow me to tell you a story. When I was 26 years, I owned only an extension(yes, for electricity), by 27 years 9 months, I had a million in my account. By 28 years 5 months, I had less than 100k. By 30 years, I had built my mum a house.
A thread.

My dad was never the affectionate type. He didn’t say “I love you.” He didn’t hug much. He showed up, went to work, paid the bills, and stayed quiet.
Growing up, I used to think he didn’t really see me.
I remember once in high school, I told him I wanted to go on a school trip. It wasn’t even expensive, but he said no. Just “we can’t afford it.” No explanation. I cried in my room and told myself that if he cared, he would’ve found a way.
Years later, after he passed, my mom gave me a small box of his things. Old receipts, his watch, random papers he kept.
At the bottom was a folded document. It was a savings account.
In my name.
Opened the same year he told me we “couldn’t afford” that trip.
I looked through the statements. Every single month, without fail, he had been putting money into it. Even during years I knew things were hard. Even during the time he was working two jobs and barely sleeping.
The balance was enough to cover almost my entire college tuition.
I realized in that moment, he didn’t say no because he didn’t care.
He said no because he was choosing my future over my present disappointment.
He let me think he was the bad guy so one day, I wouldn’t have to struggle.
He never explained. Never took credit. Never told me what he was doing.
He just carried it quietly.
And somehow, that hurt more than if he hadn’t done it at all.
There’s a debate going on about which is worse: mosquitoes or bedbugs.
As someone who respects facts, trauma, and lived experience, let me be clear:
Bedbugs are the worst creatures to ever exist.
Mosquitoes?
We Africans are built for mosquitoes.
They disturb you, you slap one, you get malaria, you treat it, life moves on.
Use a net, cover your body, sleep with fan, you’ll still manage to sleep.
But bedbugs?
Ah.
When bedbugs enter your house, you are no longer the landlord.
You are the tenant.
In fact, you are the visitor.
If ONE bedbug enters your house today, by tomorrow morning they are about 70 million.
No meeting. No warning. Just multiplication.
Bedbugs don’t disturb sleep, they cancel sleep.
They don’t bite you, they traumatize you.
If you survive bedbugs, you may need therapy to feel safe in your own bed again.
Bedbugs will make you appreciate the Nigerian government.
Bedbugs are worse than bandits.
You can fumigate today, tomorrow, next week,
one or two will still survive to tell the story.
In fact, to finally defeat bedbugs, you have to leave the house for them.
You relocate.. While you probably wait for Trump to Nuke your area.
And let’s talk about their confidence.
Bedbugs existed before beds were invented.
Meaning they came prepared.
Humanity just caught up later.
Their scientific name is Cimex lectularius- you see the name? Bedbug is a senior lecturer.
And trust me, bedbugs will lecture you about life, humility, suffering, patience and why pride is useless.
In every language, the name “bedbug” never sounds friendly.
In Idoma, it's called 'ikpre'.
In Ebira language, it's call Ikazi (which sounds like 'irazi', meaning 'war') You dey hear am? Bedbugs is a bringer of war.
No translation sounds like peace.
So please, let’s stop this debate.
Mosquitoes are annoying but Bedbugs are demonic.
If bedbugs visit your house, you are the guest.
