WTF?? Labour’s Lisa Nandy Complains Because She’s Being Interviewed By A Man On Sky News.
Lisa Nandy on Sky News this morning, literally complaining that she’s being interviewed by a man (Trevor Phillips) who dared to ask about men competing for the Labour leadership.
Trevor points out that she keeps emphasising the word “men” and asks if she’s trying to make a point by doing so. Her response was f*cking ludicrous:
“It’s just not lost on me Trevor that I’m being interviewed by a man, being asked to give my views about several men in the Labour Party. I’m sorry if I’ve come across as a bit irritated.”
😂 What a ridiculous, entitled whinge from one of the worst woke politicians in Labour.
Throwing a sulk because the biggest story in politics right now involves male leadership contenders and she has to answer questions about it like every other politician doing the media rounds.
Who the f*ck cares what sex the interviewer is or the people running for leader? Grow up you pathetic clown.
Given the ridiculous volume of Prime Ministers that Britain’s endured in recent years, I think it should now be law that if a PM quits or is forced out during his/her term, it automatically triggers a new general election. That might concentrate their minds to do a better job.
@SkyNews@TrevorPTweets@lisanandy@UKLabour I don’t think you have got it or understand what the country wants, started with a disastrous budget mad 🥜 0 policy’s and very little vision you had 14 years. Your party is full of, “froth and nonsense” no vision at all for growth
'Let's just reconstitute this before frankly, you really embarrass yourself.'
@CamillaTominey clashes with Labour MP Tom Hayes who attempts to derail their interview by bringing up a story about Reform UK's Richard Tice, instead of responding to questions on Sir Keir Starmer.
With rumours of a leadership challenge against Keir Starmer now circulating after Andy Burnham was seen secretly meeting with Angela Rayner yesterday, the usual Labour infighting is back in full swing.
Starmer may well be on his way out, but don’t fool yourselves: things won’t get any better anytime soon. They could easily get worse.
Just watch this painful old BBC Daily Politics clip where the great @afneil effortlessly dismantles her on corporation tax and capital gains tax. Rayner is utterly clueless. She knows nothing.
She gets basic things wrong, dodges every specific, and just regurgitates empty talking points about “priorities” and “investing in public services” while Neil repeatedly presses for actual numbers, revenue figures, or policy details.
It’s actually painful to watch her flounder like this. And even more painful to think this woman could soon be Prime Minister.
In the end, even the unflappable Andrew Neil throws in the towel: “You don’t know, do you?” followed by a defeated “I’m lost” 😂
If this is the “brains” behind a leadership challenge, God help us all. 🤦♂️
@SkyNews@leicesterliz interview with @TrevorPTweets the government representative trying to defend the indefensible, The tragedy if Starmer goes we might end up with Miliband or Rayner, this government should put this to a vote and call a general election to end this farce
@GMB@PaulBrandITV Is @UKLabour ever going to take responsibility for anything? Previously prime minister, previous government, Iam guessing as they can’t make any of their l own decisions they have to blame someone or something else
@GBNEWS@DawnNeesom This government is deluded, at some point you have to stop blaming someone else and realise that what you are doing is not working, just another collection of @UKLabour press office talk about the non existent growth and rewarding a creaking welfare system
Wholesale electricity prices back roughly to where they were in 2019, pre-pandemic, pre-Ukraine. But energy bills never higher. Why?
Simples: government policies, pursued by previous Tory governments and the current Labour one, which has doubled down on Tory nonsense. Such as carbon taxes, massive subsidies for renewables, billions to upgrade grid to accommodate said renewables etc etc.
Thanks to policies you zealously pursue we already have the highest industrial energy costs and second highest household costs in the world. You’re inflicting working people with extra financial burden and loss of well-paid jobs.
So don’t dare talk about skyrocketing bills.
Your solar panels are paving over good farmland and your onshore windmills are already a blight on the landscape.
There are nothing like hundreds of thousands of clean energy jobs. It’s a myth you perpetuate. Unemployment is rising.
There is no energy security when you increase dependence on intermittent renewables, which is why you’re having to build new gas plants as back up and increase imported electricity (which hardly adds to our energy security).
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
