The new Tesla Roadster literally sucks itself to the road.
Tesla says fans underneath the car pulls air out from beneath it, creating a low-pressure area that holds it against the surface with the system generating up to 2 g’s of suction, enough to hold the car upside down.
That same system presses the tires harder against the road, giving them more grip for acceleration, braking, and cornering. Unlike conventional aero, which relies on speed to build downforce, the fans can create that extra grip even at low speeds.
Bro… that means cornering beyond 2 g’s… The Roadster can adjusts its aero as its speed changes, with a variable-pitch rear wing and both high-downforce and low-drag modes.
Elon described the feeling, “You can corner like it looks like you’re breaking physics bc the car sticks to the ground so hard… This car could suck the chrome off a trailer hitch.”
And this is just the system that keeps it ON the road. Add the SpaceX thrusters, and you start to understand why the 0–60 number was never going to tell the whole story.
Tesla and SpaceX are truly pushing what we thought a car could do…

It's worth remembering that Obama, in 2016, was asked by The Atlantic's neocon editor, @JeffreyGoldberg, why he didn't do more to protect Crimea and E. Ukraine.
Obama said Ukraine is a vital interest to Russia, but not the US, and it'd be insane to risk war with Russia over it.
Western civilization conquered oceans, split the atom, put men on the moon, and built a world of prosperity our ancestors could scarcely have imagined. Then its own schools, universities, and cultural institutions began teaching generations of children to be ashamed of the civilization that accomplished it.
What a staggering goddamn betrayal.
The Greeks celebrated excellence. Explorers risked everything. Scientists challenged the impossible. Generations built industries, defended nations, and pushed humanity into the future. Their descendants inherited the greatest accumulation of knowledge, wealth, and technological achievement in human history.
And what did our enlightened cultural establishment do with that inheritance?
Turned achievement into guilt. Recast national pride as a character defect. Made historical monuments targets for destruction and taught children to catalogue America's sins while remaining spectacularly ignorant of its triumphs.
Then the political consequences followed. Factories disappeared overseas. Borders became optional. Military strength deteriorated. Sovereign decisions migrated toward international bureaucracies. The people entrusted with protecting Western prosperity presided over its erosion while congratulating themselves on their sophistication.
And the same smug bastards who lecture Americans about their civilization's moral failures live surrounded by its achievements, enjoying comforts made possible by generations whose courage and ambition they now regard with contempt.
Marco Rubio stood before the Parthenon and reminded the world what those generations understood: greatness requires competition, sacrifice, risk, and the willingness to pursue what others consider impossible. Trump's determination to rebuild American industry, military strength, technological dominance, and national confidence is a direct rejection of this poisonous culture of surrender.
Because the ugliest part of this story is the betrayal itself.
Western civilization survived wars, invasions, tyrants, and centuries of enemies determined to destroy it.
Imagine building something magnificent enough to survive all that, only to discover your own descendants had been educated to despise it.

Washington has become such a self-absorbed, dysfunctional fucking circus that a president can announce nuclear reactors on the Moon, quantum computers, and billions in scientific commitments, and the political establishment barely lifts its head from its latest partisan circle jerk.
Trump's Golden Age summit unveiled roughly $6 BILLION in scientific initiatives and commitments.
Eleven technology companies pledged $2.4 billion in computing resources for AI-driven discoveries. Another $215 million competition targets fault-tolerant quantum computing. Researchers are pursuing $1.8 billion in virtual-cell technology that could revolutionize medicine.
NASA is pursuing nuclear-powered spacecraft for Mars and a fission reactor on the Moon.
Fucking extraordinary ambitions.
And what occupies Washington's attention?
The same exhausting parade of political bullshit. Endless hearings. Manufactured outrage. Bureaucratic dick-measuring contests. Professional politicians treating every petty disagreement like civilization itself hangs in the balance.
Meanwhile, the technologies that could determine which nations dominate the next century are advancing.
That's what makes this spectacle so goddamn infuriating.
America faces enormous technological and strategic challenges, and much of its political class behaves like a collection of spoiled, self-important assholes fighting over who gets to control the wreckage of yesterday.
They've built an entire industry around managing dysfunction, rewarding failure, and convincing Americans that another round of political theater constitutes meaningful accomplishment.
And they've become so comfortable inside that rotten little world that genuine national ambition practically looks like an alien concept.
Trump's scientific agenda faces enormous engineering challenges. Announcements still require execution. But at least somebody is putting extraordinary objectives on the fucking table.
The sheer contrast exposes how intellectually bankrupt Washington's priorities have become.
Because technological supremacy isn't some hereditary American birthright. Other nations are competing, investing, experimenting, and building while our political parasites spend their days sharpening knives for the next partisan food fight.
History doesn't give a flying fuck how many hearings you held, how many press conferences you staged, or how brilliantly you humiliated your political enemies.
It remembers what civilizations actually accomplished.
And the most chilling possibility is that America could squander its technological inheritance while the smug bastards entrusted with its future remain too fucking busy fighting over the past to notice what they're losing.

A polling error, PLUS:
1. Dems are historically unpopular
2. Republicans are dominating voter registrations
3. Dems are losing badly in early vote
4. Dems ran shit candidates, particularly in Maine, Michigan, and Texas
5. Republicans have a billion dollar cash advantage
6. Dems cheat-by-mail network has been nuked (see 3 above)
7. Polling + Betting Markets have made polling even less reliable because there's an incentive to release garbage polls to influence the betting markets and then make money when those markets are wrong.
8. Gas prices peaked a few weeks ago and Dems have no advantage on the Iran War issue
9. James Blair is about 50iq points smarter than Ken Martin
And more
Il est incroyable que ces Américains ayant grandi entre une station service Texaco et un Burger King aient plus conscience de leurs racines que les Européens qui vivent au milieu des Abbayes, des Chateaux, des Amphithéatres romains etc
it is genuinely insane how much progress biology has made in 2026 alone
we've got:
- obesity drugs pushing 20–30%+ weight loss
- gene therapy that can restore hearing
- genetically engineered viruses approved to attack cancer
- targeted drugs that can nearly double survival in late-stage pancreatic cancer
- personalized gene-editing therapies built for a single patient
- immune cells genetically reprogrammed to hunt tumors
- AI designing proteins and biological systems humans didn't know how to make
- robots running thousands of biological experiments autonomously
the frontier is moving faster than most people realize.

USTR Presser from Milwaukee is very interesting. Video to come soon.
Canada and EU trading question/answer is very funny.
ESSENTIALLY..... Currently Canada sends their overproduction to the USA (hence their trade surplus). Currently the EU send their overproduction to the USA (hence their trade surplus).
Take away those surpluses and what exactly is Canada and the EU going to do with their excess? Two low growth economic systems are going to send their excess products to each other? Think about it. lol
Peter Thiel on Germany:
In the U.S., nine out of 12 of the youngest wealthy people made their own money. In Germany, all 20 inherited it. Not a single person built a large new scalable company.
Some excellent news from @NYPost this AM:
“The US military has been deploying lasers in the Strait of Hormuz to knock out regime hardware, taking out ‘drones and incoming cruise missiles at a much lower cost than using more expensive kinetic weapons like missiles,’nthe Department of War recently confirmed….
[T]he tech used by battleships in the Middle East and on the southern border hasn’t, as far as experts can tell, been used against human targets at this stage.”
Link in the replies. The worry over interceptors —never confirmed by the U.S. government— has taken a hit with the deployment of new laser tech. Many thought Israel was close to full deployment. Turns out the U.S. is at the leading edge along with them.
U.S. Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker on how Washington ranks its strategic priorities:
"Number one is the homeland.
Number two is our own hemisphere.
Number three is the Pacific.
Number four is Europe. It doesn't mean we're abandoning Europe. We're just asking Europeans to step forward and equalize."
