@SugarShane97 20-40s in America. Still feels like those fights captured the imagination of the public in a more meaningful sense (outside of Ali). At least in part because there was less competition in the attention economy.
Quality I probably agree with you on the 70s with a few exceptions.
@Maybe_Not_AB Its not that I dislike them, I just dont fetishize the era like many others. I also dont like modern films. Or 90s. I dont really like films at all I guess.
I genuinely only like about 20 movies and 15 of them are probably Hitchcock.
@HoriguchisMafia In terms of accessibility:
Yojimbo and Sanjuro
The Big Sleep (1946)
The Wolf Man (1941)
The Glass Key
Paths Of Glory
The Maltese Falcon

@supermensch70 I am the daughter of a French general, you can trust me! Unfortunately the numbers are way worse! I saw 250,000 bodies piled on top of each other and the regime is burning the bodies as fast as they can!
@professorgaysex@Remy_Mac_Priv I just have no nostalgia for em. Watched the stupid one with the robot when I was younger and 1&2 many years later. Like plenty of bad Stallone films from that time though. Like, Cobra, Over The Top and Tango and Cash.
