@JohnnyGiunta_ JD is clearly not one of those guys bro. It's not the same thing at all. Jomboy has a standing meeting with a direct chat to the manager. This is a comment made indirectly and publicly. On this specific issue yeah he's way more qualified than Jomboy, and you, and me.

@JohnnyGiunta_ Not discrediting him, suggesting that JDs opinion on THIS issue is more relevant (he'd say the same). Jomboy is qualified to discuss ball, obviously not saying otherwise. I love what jomboy do and have worked with them, I didn't like what JD said then either, this is a diff issue

@JohnnyGiunta_ I mean kinda?. JDs argument was that people WITHOUT MLB experience are possibly impacting the lineup and decisions. I watched it all too. JD is NOT jomboy and 10X more qualified. He wasn't objecting to anyone giving opinions at all.

@JohnnyGiunta_ Yeah you can but Russ is not JD. And I don't go listen to the show for that. JD was the most fiery player on our team at the time and Russ was one of the coolest heads. JDs PAID to be in SPORTS MEDIA. It's been said by many others too. Rather Josh be real than play protector.

@JohnnyGiunta_ JD has a pod where he's paid to talk about ball. Either he is honest or he isn't. If he wasn't honest I wouldn't listen. Nobody would. Sorry it gives fuel to the fire of Idiots, I agree it sucks. But the baseball world doesn't revolve around the lowest common denominator of fans

@JohnnyGiunta_ and how exactly would you like him to help?? he’s not a part of the organization, I would bet he doesn’t have a line to Vlad, and is unsolicited Josh Donaldson advice what Vlad would even want? I doubt it. This is all he can do to help. Call it out, say it’s not OK.

@JohnnyGiunta_ it is not sad. Nobody owes anybody any feelings being spared, his job is to report accurately and give his honest take. If you don’t like the idea of media at all, that’s fine but this is what it is. Nothing about it is sad, if you’ve ever watched any soccer media, this is light.

@JohnnyGiunta_ No, YOU said you disagreed. I’m saying that former players speaking about the Jays publicly shows they care, it’s not negative the way you’re framing it. JD Will understand this better than almost anyone and his comments/opinions are very relevant.
