Today I had the pleasure of visiting the Marillac Neurological Care Centre, Eagle Way, Brentwood to see how the charity operates. What wonderful work they do there with patients who are less fortunate than ourselves.

As my Mayoral year comes to a close one of the last places I visited was the Bat and Chat table tennis club for people living with dementia. £400 was given to tge Parkinson charity.

On Friday the Mayor of Havering hosted a charity night at the Queens Theatre in Hornchurch, on behalf of her charity First Step. They saw 39 Steps and thoroughly enjoyed it
