It was my pleasure to speak with students about my growing up in #NewportNews and what it is like to be Mayor/Dentist. I talked to them also about my motto,”May what you say and do uplift the City of Newport News.” They each got wristbands that say that. It was a great afternoon!
Then, we heard from Mayor McKinley Price, Florence Kingston (Director of the Development Department), and Everett Skipper (Director of the Engineering Department) about some of the great things happening in Newport News and the cool careers available!
