I know campaigns are not built off a single photograph. Strategy, context, partnerships, and long-term planning matter. But sometimes, one image is enough to spark an idea.

I couldn’t help but imagine what it would look like if @CAF_Online used this picture to drive a Clothing and Shelter Drive for millions of homeless African children.

The main copy almost writes itself:

“The rain doesn’t choose who it falls on.
But we can choose who we protect.
Across Africa, children sleep exposed to rain, cold, and fear.
Help us put a roof over a child’s head
and warmth on their back.”

This is why I believe in Sports for Change and Storytelling for Change.

Because beyond medals, rankings, and results, sport still has the power to remind us who we are and who we should be protecting.

If anything we do doesn’t, in some way, help change the world, then we may be missing the bigger picture.

I remain interested in conversations and opportunities around sports marketing, communications, and purpose-driven campaigns where storytelling can create real impact.

Sometimes, impact begins with simply paying attention.

Adolf Hitler had a wife. King Leopold II of Belgium murdered 20 millions of Africans, and he also had a wife. None of these women chose to sacrifice their comfort or risk their lives to stop these men by killing them.

None of them stood up for other women or humanity at large. They didn’t care. They enjoyed the wealth, protection, and privilege that came with power.

That alone exposes the lie. Feminism isn’t about dismantling oppression….it’s about accessing power and benefiting from it.

Look at how the average woman behaves with even a small amount of authority. As managers, supervisors, executives, or CEOs, many become just as ruthless, toxic, and exploitative as the very system they claim to hate….often worse. They don’t uplift other women. They bully them. They don’t protect men. They use them. Power doesn’t make them different; it reveals who they really are.

They don’t hate patriarchy. They want patriarchy…with themselves at the top and men at the bottom. They don’t oppose hierarchy; they just resent not being the beneficiaries of it.

If feminism were truly about fairness, accountability, and equality, we would see rich women and powerful women leading the charge, risking something real. Instead, the loudest feminists are almost always those with the least to lose and the most to gain.

That’s not a movement for justice. That’s a movement for leverage.
