Mrs. Nantumbwe Sarah Ddamulira was a wife to John Ddamulira, the @NUP_Ug supporter who was abducted from his shop at Kisekka market in 2020 and is missing to-date. Sadly, Sarah passed on this morning. Like other family members of those disappeared, Sarah has spent the last five years moving everywhere looking for her husband. It is most painful that she has passed on without finding any answers. Kitalo nnyo.

Today we celebrate Heroes Day.
Not for the oppressors who steal from us, but for every young person, every mother, every worker who refuses to give up.
Your courage inspires me every single day. Stay strong, stay united, our victory is near!
#BobiWineOurHero
My dear Ugandans, on this Heroes Day, I want you to know that real heroes are not those who sit on thrones of power, but those who stand with the people.
Keep fighting for your rights, keep believing in a better Uganda.
Together, United we are unstoppable.
#BobiWineOurHero
On this Heroes’ Day, we honor our President @HEBobiwine for leading with courage.
We remember all political prisoner still behind bars&every fallen cadre who paid the price for a free Uganda.
Your sacrifice is not in vain.We carry the struggle forward, with dignity&resolve.
Today, as Uganda marks Heroes Day, we choose to celebrate a hero whose journey has inspired millions across our nation.
A hero is not someone who lives a comfortable life free from challenges. A hero is someone who willingly sacrifices comfort, safety, and personal interests for the greater good. A hero stands firm when others surrender, speaks when others are silenced, and continues moving forward even when the odds seem impossible.
For many Ugandans, Bobi Wine represents that spirit.
From humble beginnings to becoming one of the most recognized voices for change in Uganda, he has dedicated his life to amplifying the voices of ordinary citizens. He has endured arrests, intimidation, violence, restrictions, and countless attempts to silence him, yet he continues to stand with the people and advocate for justice, dignity, freedom, and democratic governance.
Whether one agrees with him politically or not, it is impossible to ignore the courage it takes to challenge a powerful establishment, to continue speaking when doing so carries personal risk, and to remain committed to a cause despite immense pressure.
Millions of Ugandans see in Bobi Wine a reflection of their own hopes, struggles, and aspirations. They see a leader who chose service over comfort, sacrifice over silence, and courage over fear. They see a symbol of resilience and a reminder that ordinary citizens can rise and make their voices heard.
Today, we honor not only the man, but also the values he represents: courage, sacrifice, perseverance, hope, and an unwavering belief that Uganda can be better than it is today.
Happy Heroes Day to all those who continue to stand for truth, justice, and freedom.
