I will always believe Aubrey. Itโs because of her that DK comes back every time. NO MATTER WHAT. How disgusting for this to happen. How do you fumble an ARENA TOUR?!!!!! It couldโve been monumental. All 5 ladies to close the chapter and rebuild the legacy. Smhโฆ
It is absolutely heartbreaking to see how these women have treated @AubreyODay - she is literally the face of the entire group. She is the STAR- I know we have more amazing things to come but truly what a disappointment from them to behave this way after Aubrey carried this group
Everything that was stated about my choices in this article is a lie. We had a group meeting to decide whether we wanted to move onto the 2026 tour dates available. D pointed out that they were for a lot less money, I wanted to make sure that I felt comfortable being around them, and collectively- we decided to hold until our final tour date in the first run to make a decision. It was a group decision and the agent who was on speaker agreed on the group decision, and can validate the above as facts. I brought the Tour forward. I worked with the agent to bring as many dates possible. I (chose the high road) and contacted Everyone to return, regardless of who said they wouldnโt work with who. I started out the year with two potential arena tours and a huge UK deal for the group in front of 10,000 people. They turned all of this down in order to become a duo under the name Danity Kane. To be clear- When it was Shannon and Aubrey as a duo, we changed the name to dumblonde. When Dawn and I were a duo, we changed the name to Strawberry Milk. When Shannon, Dawn and I spent over a decade touring this group and building its legacy as the only members willing to come back, we called ourselves DK3- as all of us felt that was the most respectful thing to do for the fans and for our brand. I wanted this last tour to be called DK3 as well, I was not in the majority of this decision. Iโm choosing to no longer engage in this circus-anyone that knows me knows Iโm always ready to take the stage, I can put all beef to the side and always create a great show.. and as someone who is the only member to have been part of every iteration of this group, and brought all tours over the years back to DK.. there is no one more heartbroken to see it end in such an unsettling, offputting way. The remainder of the girls in Danity Kane have all expressed feelings of disappointment as well. I wish these girls the best of luck. Dawn is still on stage killing it and I support her career. And I will continue to tour as I always have, and I will be touring under my own name.
