:: LOS BRITÁNICOS DEMON, PIONEROS DE LA NWOBHM, SE SUMAN ROCK IMPERIUM FESTIVAL 2023 ::

Nos complace anunciar la confirmación de los legendarios Demon. La formación británica, pionera del NWOBHM estará incendiando Cartagena en la tercera jornada del festival, el día 25 de junio. Por otra parte y lamentándolo mucho, nos vemos en la obligación de comunicar que Angel Witch no podrán actuar en Rock Imperium Festival 2023, como estaba previsto, por razones que van más allá de su control.

Aquí su comunicado:

"We are sorry to report that, as with our 2022 live run, Angel Witch have been forced to cancel our summer shows in 2023 due to logistical issues well beyond the band’s control.
We hate to disappoint our fans and let down the promoters who have put faith in us, but no one is more frustrated and upset than the band themselves about this situation. Rest assured, however, we will to the live arena!"

No ha sido fácil encontrar una opción que sustituyera de modo coherente una banda tan significativa como lo es Angel Witch, pero desde nuestro punto de vista y tras una exigente labor curatorial creemos haber dado en el clavo con la inclusión de DEMON, una de las bandas pioneras del NWOBHM que ahora se suman a Rock Imperium Festival 2023, y cuya carrera y presencia en el festival resultan clave para comprender la historia del rock y en particular del heavy metal.

Los mayores himnos de Demon como “Night of the Demon”, “Father of Time” o “Don’t Break the Circle” sonarán muy alto este verano en Rock Immperium Festival 2023 Cartagena junto a bandas del calibre de KISS, Deep Purple, Helloween o Europe y no te lo puedes perder.

We are delighted to announce the addition of the legendary Demon to the festival's line-up. The British act, pioners of the NWOBHM scene, will be setting Cartagena on fire on the third day of the festival, June 25th. We are also deeply sorry to inform you that Angel Witch had to cancel their performance at Rock Imperium Festival 2023 for reasons beyond their control.

It wasn't easy to find a suitable and coherent replacement for a band as special as Angel Witch but, after an exhaustive curational process, we believe we have found the right choice in the form of the legendary DEMON, also pioneers of the NWOBHM movement who are now part of the line-up of 2023's Rock Imperium Festival and whose career is an important piece of rock and heavy metal's history.

Some of their most celebrated classics like "Night of the Demon", Father of Time" or "Don't Break the Circle" will sound this summer at Rock Imperium Festival 2023 Cartagena together with bands like KISS, Deep Purple, Helloween or Europe and you can't kiss it.
