@AvidProTools needs to fix their annoying subscription model‼️

i've been paying monthly consistently since 2020 without ever cancelling...all was well, until recently I was forced to pause my subscription—now, I reactivated it again (before the cancellation/grace-period cut off by the way)—and i'm trying to finish a client project, but I can't get any work done because the damn subscription won't renew❗️😡🤬

The Avid Link app doesnt help, the Avid website dashboard doesnt help, no customer service line or chat is available...so now I have to tell my client the project turnaround is delayed, I'M PIST❗️

Bring back Perpetual purchases or i'm switching to @Ableton for my tracking/mixing/mastering‼️ Because this subscription model is a nightmare 🤬

I dont understand why #engineers have allowed the industry to get comfy excluding us from publishing royalties, not necessarily writers share cus that varies, but FOR SURE the masters are a product of the engineer's work, so its absurd that this is not a common practice in 2020..
