@edmundmcmillen I would really love a collaborative game mode that’s similar to an actual run in Isaac less competitive. Unfortunately, or fortunately, that could be an entirely new game.
What a day… so the review embargo for mewgenics lifts in 6 hours. that means 6+ years of our lives that we poured into this game will be boiled down to a number.. I’m tired, stressed and excited at the same time, and also worried about getting no sleep and being a zombie all day… wish us luck!
Looking forward to a post-release playthrough! As a tester, one thing I think @edmundmcmillen and @TylerGlaiel nailed is that the game welcomes experimenting with all of its wacky possibilities, but you still feel like your decisions (and cats!) matter.
Mewgenics is a tactical turn-based roguelike where every new run with a new set of mutant feline adventurers is full of potential for something you didn't know could happen, even after dozens of hours of runs.

"For players who enjoy complex systems, tough decisions, and pitch-black humor, this one is absolutely worth diving into." - Gameliner
I don’t think I’ve ever played a roguelite that had more of a variety of viable builds that are fun to play and feel fundamentally different from each other. 200 hours in and I still haven’t felt the urge to abandon a run despite how punishing some mistakes can be

Well done @edmundmcmillen and @TylerGlaiel 👏😼🧬
