How can any government serious about jobs let in so many asylum seekers.
Once they get their paperwork, they qualify for grants, they use the clinics, they send their children to government schools.
All paid for by the abused South African taxpayer.
BREAKING NEWS: Over 3 million applications have been submitted to the Department of Social Development for the SASSA grant by refugees and asylum seekers.
There’s a company that I used to work with, we built tech for them to identify children and women being trafficked at airports, there was a time they were making busts everyday at OR Tambo for two months straight. The government came and shut them down without any explanation.
We are in deep shit as a country. How does millions of rand simply disappear when the money isn’t even cash Where are the records, the transactions and the accountability?. 🇿🇦
This is not Nigeria 🇳🇬 money can’t go missing just like this.
Bafazi, we need to march to SARS! We do not want to pay taxes anymore!
What’s the point of paying almost half our salaries to @sarstax if the money is not used to help us at all? Why are we begging the police for the bare minimum?
We’re losing this country, and it’s not some theory on the radio. It’s happening here. People walk in from the other side of the border like the line is a suggestion. They stream through Beitbridge, Lebombo, the bush, the ports. Nobody counts them properly. Nobody sends them back. Then we act shocked when the clinic is full, the queue is longer, and the wage at the bottom gets cheaper. There’s nothing cute about it. Hardworking South Africans are falling through the floor — no work, no lights, no safe street — while the state still finds a speech about ubuntu and an open door. Citizens who paid tax, waited in Home Affairs, and played by the book get told they’re heartless for noticing. People who aren’t even on the list get the bed, the job, the grant argument, and the benefit of the doubt. Then the same politicians who can’t keep a hospital stocked call you xenophobic for asking who belongs first. Close the book on the fairy tale. This isn’t charity anymore. It’s a government that won’t hold a border, won’t police a street, and still wants applause for the lecture. That makes me angry.
The Madlanga Commission confronts us with a disturbing question: what happens when the people entrusted with protecting us are the very people we need protection from?
Finger prints were found. Tons, as he wasn’t wearing gloves. Not covering his face. DNA was also found. But I was told by police he isn’t documented therefore they can’t trace him. This broke me. Because all I want is for him to be found and arrested. I want to know why? Why!!!!
