Hon Johanna Ng'eno was a strong supporter of Sabaot artists and Kapkugo Festival in Mt Elgon. His final public engagement in Endebess, Trans Nzoia County, celebrating our culture, reflects the passion he had for uplifting his people.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
Today, we have lost a dedicated leader, a champion of culture, and a strong supporter of artists and community initiatives. My heartfelt condolences go to his family, the people of Emurua Dikirr and the families of all those who lost their lives.
May their souls rest in peace.
Once again, the resilient, indomitable Kenyan spirit has roared to life at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani! Harambee Stars stood tall, defying the odds to defeat one of the tournament’s giants - Morocco - even after being reduced to 10 men for much of the match.
Kenya is rising. We are conquering arenas where no one thought we could stand, let alone triumph. This is Kenya. We believe. We fight. We rise.
Congratulations to our boys - mumecheza kama nyinyi. Sasa nitacheza kama mimi!
I was honoured to receive an award as an anti- Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) champion by the Kenya-Finland Bilateral Program.
I remain committed to fighting for the rights of all, especially women and girls.
I advocated for preserving our culture; our language and oral traditions , and urged action toward affirmative development and land protection. The festival was not just a celebration but a moment to reconnect with our roots and shape a stronger future for our people. 2/2

This morning, I joined Governor Kenneth Makelo Lusaka for the Hopkins Hospital Wellness Run in Bungoma CBD.
The event promotes physical and mental wellness.
Today, we honor the heroes who fought for our freedom and those who continue to make sacrifices for the betterment of our nation. Let us all strive to be heroes in our own right, uplifting our communities and contributing to the progress of our country.
Happy Mashujaa Day 2024!
Commiserated with our Governor Ken Lusaka for the untimely demise of his dear late brother Noah Sikhila.
