DJ is a high basketball IQ player that’s grown up around the game, absorbing knowledge and understanding from high levels while being around his father.

He’s always had natural shooting touch/mechanics, but has also shown increased quickness in decision making getting downhill, seeking contact, and improved handle ability to comfortably operate as a secondary offensive initiator.

He shouldn’t be viewed as a “late bloomer,” more so just a younger prospect that only turned 17 years old last week and is beginning to come into his own physically.

Already wearing a size 16 shoe, which could point towards more growth still coming.

Recently picked up his first Division I offer from University of Toledo.
