His alleged crime is criticising the Trump administration, so much for free speech.
You are free before you speak, but your freedom is not guaranteed after you speak.

Imagine being an ambassador whose country is under attack by Trump and his goons based on lies and cheap propaganda, but when you set the record straight, then you are kicked out.

The fact that Secretary of State Marco Rubio made this announcement via social media, citing a Breitbart article, adds another layer of complexity to the situation.
The use of such platforms for important diplomatic decisions is unconventional and could potentially lead to further tensions and misunderstandings.
