Finally watched the Fear Street Trilogy on Netflix. Thought about mentioning it as I teach The Crucible because of the parallels in part three: 1666. Then it hit me…won’t be teaching The Crucible this year. #stilladjusting

It’s been an affirming and nostalgic 2 weeks. I have finally finished my personal emails to each of the 162 past students who participated in my “Happy Retirement” movie that my family surprised me with on our family vacation. Now on to a new project!

After an emotional week, which included my last journalism senior send-off and a long overdue English department gathering, this retirement thing is getting way too real!
