McCain Childress

hey there! I am a junior communications student at the College of Charleston. I am striving to be a sports reporter!

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

TEXAS CAME BACK FROM BEING DOWN 20-3 AT HALF TO SECURE A 24-23 WIN AGAINST THE OHIO STATE BUCKEYES TONIGHT. IT WAS TURNOVER CENTRAL ACROSS THE BOARD WITH THE LAST PLAYING BEING AN INTERCEPTION BY THE LONGHORNS.

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

TEXAS WINS WITH AN INTERCEPTION 24-23

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

Texas may have made an insane comeback...

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

some fire in these Tigers after punting but recovering the fumble from Georgia Southern.

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

vibes are good in Clemson 😭

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

second turnover for Texas... not a great start for the Longhorns only 5 minutes into the game.

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

The kid sitting in front of me goes "are we going to be here all night? Do we have to sleep here???" Valid questions to be asking in Death Valley tonight.

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

what i'm wondering is what Clemson will do differently during this rain delay as opposed to the delay against LSU?

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

60 minute countdown clock for the start of the Clemson game still is sitting at 60 minutes in Death Valley, but people are finally moving to their seats again.
No official start time yet.

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

fumble in the first 11 seconds of the Ohio State vs Texas game... going to be an interesting night.

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

@DruffLegend85 @ToddShanesySHJ @LouatTheState final score???

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

college football is so back. some great games this weekend with SMU at FSU tomorrow to close out this wild weekend.

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

Lincoln Kienholz has set an insane precedent for the season and his career. nearly 300 passing yards in his first career start and the game isn't over yet. Win or lose, what a crazy beginning.

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

first time i've ever seen a roughing the kicker penalty in my 20 years on this earth.

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

They have the readiness routine of Sam Leavitt right now because the game is that bad... and the next play after LSU scores yet again.

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

@FrazziniShaun agreed 🥹

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

on a happier note, Western Michigan is 30 seconds away from beating Michigan and making program history by winning this matchup for the first time ever.

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

Dabo was honest about the lack of rhythm so far for this Clemson team. A serious change will need to occur at halftime for Clemson to have a chance in this game. Better communication about plays and being ready when the ball is snapped is needed. However, it's not over till it's over as well just saw with Michigan.

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

@FrazziniShaun didn't age well 🥹

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

@millwallco yeah one second on the clock was actually insane.

[McCain Childress @McCainChildress]

Michigan just won on a hail mary??? Happy first week of CFB everyone.
