Simple solution is they compete for libertarian voters in action and ideas. Their monopoly on electoral influence makes them flabby and unresponsive on both. In a parliamentary system they would collapse.

@BokoHarambe @michaelmalice Can confirm. Lived here since 1988. I will say that Minnesotans are very polite - especially outside of the Twin Cities - but Wisconsinites are more laid back. Also, Minnesota undeniably has the most attractive people in the world. It was shocking when I moved here.
