So said the Lighthouse Keeper:
I am the loneliest of all creatures in the universe. In fact, I am an epitaph for man. Some day will end loneliness... or hope
@TheCinesthetic My daughter was traumatized by Disney's Pinocchio. The scene where Candlewick, the bad boy, turns into a donkey in front of Pinocchio still makes her cry, even now that she's 20, and she's had therapy to overcome it. She was four years old when she saw it

On this day, 94 years ago, Tod Browning's "Freaks" (1932) premiered in Los Angeles, California, USA.
In January 1932, MGM held test screenings of the film, which proved disastrous: Art director Merrill Pye recalled that "Halfway through the preview, a lot of people got up and ran out. They didn't walk out. They ran out."
A woman who attended a test screening for the film sued MGM claiming that she suffered a miscarriage due to the film's shocking nature, which prompted severe cuts to the movie by the studio without Tod Browning's consent. The original 90-minute version no longer exists.
It is one of the favourite movies of Werner Herzog. Here is what he said about the movie:
"The oddest thing about 'Freaks' (1932) is that I suspect Tod Browning didn’t even realize what a masterpiece he had created; he thought it was some sort of a horror movie, & wrote an endless prologue apologizing for it."

Viaje bueno, #NoB
@ReubenLangdon Mr. Langdon: you're an amazing person. I met you by Dante and your fabulous work on voices, but the man behind the characters is awesome, always search the truth. Your guidance have been a great support on my life. I wish you all the blessings of the universe. Happy Birthday!!!
