Let us be reminded that Hippocrates, of whom we derive the Hippocratic oath… said that no man had the right to call himself a physician who was not also an astrologer.
Nobody tells you this: the single most transformative habit isn't meditation, exercise, or journaling. It's catching yourself mid-pattern and choosing differently. In real time. Not in reflection. Not in hindsight. In the actual moment. That micro-interruption is worth more than any morning routine.
what you will never regret is creating a folder and saving all the art that draws you in to the point where you can't stop looking. there is enormous power in figuring out what gets your attention and the deeper meaning behind it. it is one of the side quests everyone should do
Do not even consider realities that you do not want to happen. Only commit your powerful creative mental thought energy to circumstances, potentials, and events that you want to happen in your life. Ignore everything else. This is the secret.
The highest form of spirituality is materialism. I’m not talking about materialism in the sense of buying things or accumulating possessions, but in absolute devotion to the material world directly in front of us. A lot of spirituality teaches us to do the opposite. The body is here in the world, but the ego is somewhere else searching for higher dimensions, astral realms, supernatural beings, altered states, enlightenment, anything more extraordinary than this ordinary moment. We call it “transcendence”, but often it’s just another way of refusing to be where we are.
Eventually the entire path brings you back to the place you started. The end is in the beginning, symbolized by the Ouroboros. Back to the body. Back to washing dishes, drinking tea, training, working, growing old, loving people, and paying attention to the few feet of earth beneath your feet. You stop trying to escape the material world and begin inhabiting it completely. You realize that the sacred was never hiding somewhere behind the world. It was the world you kept overlooking while searching for something else. The end of spirituality isn’t another dimension. It’s finally being completely here. This is the stage of realizing Kether is in Malkuth, and Malkuth is in Kether.
The lover who never risks loving mocks romance. The thinker who never commits to a philosophy sneers at belief itself. And yet, all of them suffer, because deep down they know: the life they mock is the life they were meant to live." 2/2
Very important to simplify your life. Whatever you can remove from your possessions, from your schedule, from your mental bandwidth, do so. The things that you own take up space in your head. When you own less, things become clearer. Decisions are easier, and you reduce attachment to physical reality, which benefits you spiritually and mentally. Practise regular clearouts and donations of what you do own, and also try to live in a way that is simple and enjoy that, for the best things in life are not attached to owning possessions.
