EM residency programs should seek opportunities to have their trainees do procedures on living patients in non-emergency settings (surgery rotation, ICU rotation, etc)
Change is needed to foster improvement.

@ccmoreiraVasDoc In Virginia they called it "Slippery Heparin" - meant to keep things flowing, there's evidence that 500 u/hr reduces endothelial inflammation and thus likely reduces thrombotic events.
Can also be called "non-titrated heparin drip" ... seems more technical
