@EdmontonOilers I don’t ever want to hear a word from the Edmonton Oilers organization again about the importance of mental health. What a disappointing outcome to my loyalty for this team.
@spittinchiclets I don’t ever want to hear a word from the Edmonton Oilers organization again about the importance of mental health. I hope the fallout is epic and loud. What a disappointing outcome to my loyalty for this team.
@Isuckatpicking I don’t ever want to hear a word from the Edmonton Oilers organization again about the importance of mental health. The moment this hire happens, I hope the fallout is epic and loud. What a disappointing outcome to my loyalty for this team.
@Sports1440@JasonGregor Fans (and new former fans) should also wait for the press conference and let their voices be heard. That hall of fame room has glass. They’ll hear us.
I will put it this way. I don't hate him for his acquittal. I simply dont respect him for his lack of accountability for being involved in a clearly controversial situation, where something had happened. As someone whom kids would look up to, it is paramount that those role models exhibit characteristics of outstanding individuals. I don't weep for a man who can't do that. I don't weep for a man who accepted hush money in 2018. I don't weep for a man who said he "learned a lot," then doubled down and called the crowd's chants "just noise," when the smarter option would have been to acknowledge that he stood with them to flip the narrative.
@oilers_hub We need a HAIL MARY. Put Pickard in. The team loves the guy and he may bring some energy into that dressing room that we are deeply lacking.
