Martina McBride and every other entertainer who won’t honor their country at its 250th birthday celebration just outed themselves as privileged, petulant ungrateful people.
Oh you don’t like who the President is but you won’t honor America on its birthday? The country that gave you every single thing you have. Your fame, success, money.
So you only love this county when your team wins?
It’s a shameful display of privilege. No gratitude. No humility. No pride in your country.
You’re not hurting Trump or any of the other Americans who will proudly be celebrating that day. You’re just outing yourself as a thankless partisan coward.
@Supersonic_Red@artistpatrick I was born in July of 63. Technically a Boomer but always felt more like a Gen Xer. Never heard of Generation Jones. But u r spot on in ur description of us. It’s nice 2 b recognized as a group unto ourselves w/experiences all our own. I feel blessed 2 have grown up when I did.
If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal.
If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist.
If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian.
If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.
You need to understand the Democrat mind.
They don't care if the Southern Poverty Law Center committed wire fraud.
They don't care if the SPLC made false official statements to the federal government.
They don't care if the SPLC engaged in conspiracy to commit money laundering.
They don't care because to them, the ends always justifies the means.
Rank-and-file Democrats see the SPLC as being virtuous, so therefore they don't care about the crimes.
The Democrat leadership sees the SPLC as one of the very most effective tools they have to achieve and maintain power, and since power is all they care about, they don't care about the crimes.
@ThrillaRilla369 I do 🙋🏻♀️. I was in the 7th grade and the bicentennial was a big deal. Our whole school put on a big show/concert that spring and every song, skit, speech or poem was patriotic. Everyone dressed in red, white and blue and we were bursting with pride. 🇺🇸 Good memories!
@BishopBarron The Pope and the Catholic Church started this fight with Trump (publicly I might add) and now they’re offended by the punches Trump landed in response? Too bad 🤷🏻♀️. If the Pope wants an apology, he might start by issuing one.
