THE DAY AFTER. It was such a distinct pleasure, so immensely satisfying, to be able to report to you yesterday that our second quarter of 2026 with $321.4 million of Adjusted EBITDA was the single best quarterly result in AMC’s entire 106-year history.

With 71 million guests in our theatres, we also had the highest revenues in AMC history, and managed our costs well.

We have generated $228 million more EBITDA in the first half of 2026 than we did in the first half last year.

We finished the quarter with $778 million of cash on hand.

The best way to silence the critics and make the naysayers irrelevant is to produce undeniably good results, in this case for Q2 record results, and that is precisely what AMC has been doing throughout 2026.

To those Apes who stood by us along the way, and especially to those who are with us still, I am not exaggerating in saluting the role you all played in saving moviegoing and saving movie theatres and saving AMC.

Because of your support, your children and grandchildren should be able to continue to enjoy… in theatres… seeing dazzling images on our huge silver screens, just as people have done to their great delight for more than a century.

“Netflix, the world’s largest streaming service, and AMC Entertainment, the world’s largest theatre chain, have jointly decided to work together.

This new cooperation will start this Halloween weekend. AMC will show Netflix's most-popular movie in its history, KPop Demon Hunters. It will play on approximately 400 AMC screens across its theatres in the U.S. and Europe.

While the two companies have not had a commercial relationship in recent years, both Netflix and AMC are intrigued by the mutually beneficial opportunities that could arise from this and future collaboration. 

Discussions are underway as to what that may entail, but no further details are being shared at this time.”

Gold prices are soaring. AMC’s Hycroft shares and warrants are again worth more than what we paid for them. Our shareholders enjoyed that investment, but the “smart money” on Wall Street laughed at us. With gold prices now above $4275 an ounce, who is laughing now? Ha, ha, ha.

We announced today that AMC Entertainment successfully extinguished an additional $40 million of debt, and that it cost us essentially nothing incrementally to do so.

There was a clause in our July 2025 refinancing that contemplated this possibility, if certain things happened in August and September. They did happen as we hoped they would, and so this extra $40 million of debt went away.

It is only about 1% of our long term debt, but every bit helps. A small step forward is still a step forward.

Good morning.

The reason you feel Charlie’s death so deeply is because grief doesn’t measure itself by proximity. It measures itself by meaning. You didn’t have to know him personally to feel the sting of his absence, because when a voice like his goes silent, something in the atmosphere shifts.

The reason it feels heavier than so many other tragedies is because your spirit recognizes that this is not just about a man, it is about a battle. Scripture says eternity is written on our hearts, and when someone who carried truth with boldness is suddenly gone, eternity aches within us. It’s like our souls know instinctively that the darkness celebrated, and that strikes us at the core.

The reason you can’t shake it is because psychologically, we don’t only attach ourselves to people…we attach ourselves to symbols. Charlie became a symbol of conviction in a time of compromise, courage in a time of fear. And when a symbol is struck down, it rattles something primal and eternal inside us.

That’s why even those who never met him feel it. There is a strange thread pulling at us, and it is not imagined. It is real. We are bound together by shared purpose, by shared longing for truth, by the Spirit of God Himself weaving us into a fabric that cannot be torn apart. This loss pulled at that fabric, and every one of us felt the tug.

So if you’ve wondered why this hits so hard, it’s because your soul knows. This is bigger than news. This is bigger than politics. This is about eternity, about truth, and about the weight of a man whose life carried both.

It is earnings day at AMC, and what a day it is. In q2 2025, AMC showcased our impressive operating leverage. As AMC’s revenues grow, our EBITDA can soar. AMC’s 35.6% revenue growth drove an Adjusted EBITDA rise of 391.4%, to such a gratifying $189.2 million. Almost 5x last year!

That second quarter 2025 achievement was $150.7 million more Adjusted EBITDA than was posted in last year’s q2.

With such a sizable increase in adjusted EBITDA, net cash provided by AMC’s operating activities in the quarter surged to a positive $138.4 million, a dramatic turnaround from last year’s net cash used in second quarter operating activities of $34.6 million, and a total favorable swing of $173.0 million quarter over quarter.
