YouGov / Sky News / Times voting intention
*Greens leapfrog Labour into second place*
RefUK 23% (-1)
GRN 21% (+4)
LAB 16%(-2)
CON 16%(-2)
LDEM 14%(nc),
Pollster note: This is the highest we've had the Greens, the first time we've had them in second. It is also the lowest we have had Labour.
In terms of how meaningful this is, it is obviously likely driven to a significant extent by the publicity from the Denton & Gorton by-election, as well as any impact it has from the Greens appearing a more viable option and less of a wasted vote. It remains to be seen to what extent it sticks, or whether it fades again as the immediate publicity boost recedes.

Powerful discussion in #Bristol yesterday as @jeremycorbyn & Rhona Michie exposed how the global arms trade fuels war and injustice. A packed house heard Bristol Central Green MP @carla_denyer praise their timely book and ask: Can China’s arms trade be quantified in dollars—and human cost?
Huge thanks to @McDarran for hosting and @corbyn_project and other contributors in this important book.

Perfect illustration of how the BBC operates. It can tell critics it covered this story, while hiding it away so almost no one will actually see it.
This is the newspaper equivalent of burying embarrassing news as a filler at the bottom of page 46.
remember when a bunch if israeli men gang raped a teenage english girl, filmed it, and then when they got back to israel (without punishment) people were cheering “the brit is a whore” in the streets?
The "Americans are simply bigots" crowd needs to reckon with the fact that an objectively far more racist & sexist US society produced the political antidote to fascism (FDR), and it's a vastly more enlightened culture* that's seen Trump's rise. There is more going on here.
The reason electricity prices in the UK are so high is because we’re more reliant on gas than other countries - and gas sets the marginal price of electricity
It’s our reliance on fossil fuels that’s making us cold and poor — not net zero
Maccabi Tel Aviv fans:
- chanted "kill the arabs"
- chanted "there are no schools in Gaza, because all the children are dead"
- ripped down Palestinian flags
- disrupted the minute silence for the Valencia flood victims - with fireworks
"Antisemitic attacks"?
Get a fucking grip.
FDR, 1936: "Government by organized money is just as dangerous as government by organized mob. Never before in our history have these forces been so united against one candidate as they are today. They are unanimous in their hate-and I welcome their hatred!"
