Morning all, back on a dark night in February 2022 Ange Postocoglou's Celtic side had a chance to go top of the league by beating Rangers. There was a moment in that game when the fans were still celebrating a goal, when another arrived...
@tamrabam1@DM8883 If you look at my posts you’d see I’m far from a happy clapper - the point I’m making is if we could go and get those types of deals done now I’d bite your hand off. Our business in the 4 windows since those two has been disgraceful
@tamrabam1@DM8883 We’ve won 2 doubles in 2 years with those two (Idah as a permanent signing), in the first year we got through the CL league phase. Both played their part in that. I’d argue by most metrics it was good value mate
@tamrabam1@DM8883 Both players played a key role in us qualifying from the CL league phase, we made approx £2m loss on Idah, will profit massively on Engles when he goes. What would represent good value for money for you?
@tamrabam1@DM8883 But it’s not the players that are the problem with us - it’s getting deals done with other clubs/the board being tight cunts and not getting deals over the line quick enough…hence why we needed the biggest rebuild in a generation and go into 1st league game with 2 new players

Miller carried out a campaign of domestic violence against his partner leaving her black and blue. He stood among hundreds of “protectors” yesterday unchallenged.

@Celtic67Fins72 It is but we also needed about 6/7 minimum starters, assuming Engles and Hatate go…it’s gone under the radar a little bit but we also need a Schmeichel replacement. Still a lot of gaps to be filled, opening league game 8 days away
Celtic as a club will always baffle me.
They have the resources and the finances to absolutely destroy everyone in Scotland, making clubs have no chance to catch up to them if they really wanted to.
They also have finances to be in the same conversation as the likes of Club Brugge, Bodo Glimt and others who consistently do better than them in Europe.
Instead, they do whatever they can to anger their fanbase, give themselves the hardest possible task to reach the Champions League, annoy clubs, players and agents with their slack approach to player recruitment and allow Rangers and other clubs the opportunity to catch them when they should be swatting them aside.
