Seven of our members spent this past weekend volunteering with @SO_Illinois at their Summer Games in Bloomington. The members had a great time and can’t wait to come back next summer!
10 Key Clubbers and one staff member participated in the Polar Plunge for @SO_Illinois today in Fox Lake. The team raised over $2500 for the Special Olympics!
Congratulations to the MCHS Key Club for earning a Distinguished Club-Diamond Level award from Key Club International. This is a first for the club since the award is given only to clubs that meet certain criteria.
Great job by all the members, officers and advisor Emma Theel.
Don’t forget - our first meeting is TONIGHT. It has been moved from Petersen Park to the West Cafeteria because of the impending weather. Hope to see you there!
First meeting of the year will be on Thursday, Sept 10th @ Petersen Park. Because of the size of our club, we will have staggered meeting times by grade. Look for an email later this week for more information!
Had a great time today at @fmsc_org Schaumburg! We broke their record for the number of boxes packed in a shift-397 boxes will feed almost 300 kids for an entire year!
Don’t forget about our meeting tomorrow (Wednesday) at 7pm in the cafeteria. Be on time, or better yet early because we are learning the rules and how to score Bocce ball for the Special Olympics tournament we are hosting on Oct 6th.
