Everything in manufacturing will be connected through the internet. Do you think this a good way to produce things.#bcpsnextgenm

[Jonathan McNeal @McNealJ_BCPS]

A misconceptions of manufacturing is that it is very dirty and inefficient. Do you have any misconceptions about manufacturing #bcpsnextgenm

"Quality is what the people want" was an important factor that @PrometheusEdMD taught me today. @GrubbsMg #BCPSNextGenM

Did you know @StanleyBlkDeckr actually makes the automatic doors you would see in your local grocery store? I didn't

[Jonathan McNeal @McNealJ_BCPS]

Today the #BCPSNEXTgenM team visited Stanley Black & Decker. We went to their Global Tool Headquarters located in Towson, Maryland.

Harbor Design engineers high tech products with only about 16-18 employees. This is an example of more output with less input. #bcpsnextgenm

[Brandon Lure @blure_NGM]

Steven from Harbor Design told us: "That iron man stuff, it's real. You just gotta know how to do it"

[Brandon Lure @blure_NGM]

These parts are in this medication dispensing machine. Harbor Design uses their design process to make this a working product. #bcpsnextgenm

Just got finished our tour at Lion Brothers. #nextgenm

[Jonathan McNeal @McNealJ_BCPS]

@GrubbsMg The visit aligned with my research on manufacturing because Lion Brothers is very digital based like a lot of places are now

[Jonathan McNeal @McNealJ_BCPS]

These are just a couple of things that they do over at Lion Brothers #bcpsnextgenm
