@EXEC_RENATION @suctioncup_garf Downleveling is a tactic used for certain IDs to stay at a low level in order to get them killed faster. One example is Lantern Yi Sang, who, when killed, gives his killer Rupture count and Potency.

Another is for Fell Bullet Yi Sang and Wrath Defense allies for MD speedruns.

00 IDs only cost 50 Thread (10 and 40) to get from Uptie 1 to Uptie 3, while 000 IDs cost 100 (20 and 80)!

You most likely got 60 since you thought of Uptie 1->2 from 000 IDs and 2->3 from 00 Ids

That's why the Sinners who weren't supposed to be there have a special effect (and don't speak at all.)

TL;DR: you fight "reflections" of enemies you have seen throughout the story (which is why packs are locked behind actually completing the events/Intervallos/Cantos)
