@nmainardiauthor Oh, you're tweeting to dump on romance again? What a surprise. I'm not sure being condescending about the genre and tropes a vast majority of readers enjoy is the best way to market your books.
@anaisisreading Also it's hard for us to trust cherries to be ripe (and not eat half of them if they are) so we usually do half cherries and half blueberries, but my whole family absolutely loves this cobbler - https://t.co/6qjtspD3Rf
@anaisisreading I like cherries just as cherries. I can easily eat a bag of ripe cherries just fine, but I don't like a lot of fruits that are covered with something else.
"Is the library open today?"
"Yes."
"You don't close for Columbus Day?"
"We do not."
"I think it would be appropriate to do something to honor Christopher Columbus."
"You could announce that you're going to come to the library but then accidentally go somewhere else instead."
@anaisisreading I didn't understand until much later why all the ladies in the middle school office were chuckling about my book cover while I waited for pickup when I was going home sick one day. Turns out I'd managed to avoid the standard shame.
@anaisisreading I was totally put off by an author who brought this up at a signing and actually asked my friend and I to make sure we moved the slider all the way to 100% to make sure she got paid for everything in the book, even what wasn’t the book. Who does that?
Super excited to announce the Cambric Creek Mystery series I'll be launching in 2024, where the mystery won't be the focus on the book, and the crimes are never solved.
