The Sigerson Cup final was played at Pearse Park, Ballybay, on February 15, 1959, where Queen's University Belfast (QUB) drew with University College Dublin (UCD) with a score of 2-07 to 2-07. QUB won the replay, securing their first Sigerson Cup title.
