@ThomasSowell Republicans have never wanted to win. They are a political placeholder for a constituency they can’t stand. They aren’t weak, losing is their goal. That’s why they act like the dog that catches the car when they are in power.
You need a party that actually cares about their constituents. I believe minority communities have been ravaged by design, not by accident. IL is Dem from top to bottom. I not only don’t see them help those communities, they consistently make it worse for them. That’s why the lady in the video is so frustrated by seeing there is a fix if someone has the will to do it.
Well, I watched one party in Chicago give Boeing $60m in tax incentives to move their HQ and 200 white collar workers there. While simultaneously raising taxes and increasing regulations on factories that provided 1,000’s of jobs to underserved communities, which then left the city.
@bluucollarbro@the_jefferymead I think the Dems have controlled the cities for 60 years. Problems only exist for that long when you create them on purpose or do not want to fix them. If someone was making the argument that systematic racism existed, this would be the best example of it.
@catturd2@laurenboebert@chiproytx Right?! I feel like I am getting gaslighted CNN style with all the support I see for this guy from people I respected. He's not MAGA.
@EmeraldRobinson 100% true. That charade has gone on for years. R’s and D’s agree on unlimited war, unrestricted illegal immigration, spending and globalism. Everything else is theater to distract. R’s just drew short straw when they all picked what party they were going to be in.
