The fact that Paramount is big enough that they think a threat to boycott California would scare their AG into not suing to stop their merger…is not helpful in their argument that their market power post-merger won’t be a problem! https://t.co/HhPhKS4xt1
Isn't it funny how the mainstream media suddenly loses interest when the truth destroys one of its favorite anti-Biden narratives.
Yes, you read that right: @HunterBiden won a defamation case over bullshit claims that he was corrupt.
And remember the FBI informant who claimed Joe and Hunter Biden took bribes from Burisma? He pleaded guilty to lying. But you probably didn't know that because it only made it to the back page headlines at the time.
The press gave the accusations endless headlines and wall-to-wall coverage. But when the stories collapse, the accusers are exposed, and the Bidens are vindicated?
Crickets.
Because the lie was profitable. The truth was inconvenient.
The lie gets the headline. The Bidens get smeared. The truth gets buried.
Unfortunately, the winds of war are blowing once again in the Middle East, in Ukraine and in many other parts of the world, sowing violence, terror and death, and once again affecting many innocent people. Let us not allow these winds to extinguish the flame of hope and peace, even when it seems fragile and flickering.
I renew my hope that we will persevere on the path of dialogue, encounter and diplomacy. This is the only path capable of leading to a just and lasting peace, in which peoples can live in reconciliation, mutual security and respect for the dignity of every person.
West Virginia is ranked the least educated state.
Ranked 47th in the country for overall health.
Last in state economic rankings.
However instead of tackling the important issues the state faces, Republicans decided to use three million dollars from the state budget to create an Anti-Woke Center. Oh yeah, they had one enrollee and the director receives 300,000 per year with bonuses.
Sounds like waste and fraud to me.

TAPPER: “Iran says the Strait is closed…”
TRUMP: “Don’t talk about it.”
@jaketapper: “Ok.”
Journalism! This is tough to watch.
But hey can’t make things awkward at the White House Correspondents Dinner, right?
Years ago when I was regularly posting negative tweets about Senator Lindsey Graham I was contacted by a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist who was doing a deep dive expose on Lindsey Graham.
That story died somehow and was never published.
I hope he publishes that story now.
Fun fact.
The Monarch butterfly migration is one of the longest-known, multi-generational insect migrations on our planet. Every fourth generation lives 8 times longer than the previous generations and travels 10 times farther.
Murray: Is it true that people making under $184,000 pay a 12.4% Social Security tax rate?
Dahl: Yes
Murray: And the rate for someone making $1,000,000?
Dahl: 2.2%
Murray: So, a 12.4% tax for people making less than $184,000, but 2.2% for a millionaire or .0002% for billionaires.
New 2026 lawsuit shows companies, including Fortune 500 companies are using an AI software that automatically filters out job applicants based on personal data
The AI takes your location info, social media posts, even web searches and automatically rejects your job application (INSANE)
“If you've been applying to any corporate jobs lately, the reason you got rejected or never even received a response is far crazier than you ever could have thought. A lawsuit just exposed Eightfold AI, the company Microsoft and many other giants use to score your application.
And in that lawsuit, they're saying that Eightfold AI is not doing what we all thought, which was just kind of processing your application and giving you a little score.
They're actually taking all the data they can find about you; your location history, your web searches, your social profiles, files, combining all of it and giving you a score, 0 out of 5.
And if you have a low one, they're not ever gonna look at you. So yeah, now we have a social credit score for applications”
Here’s more information:
It’s a real class-action lawsuit filed in 2026 against Eightfold AI. They are a major AI-powered hiring platform used by companies like Microsoft, PayPal, Morgan Stanley, Starbucks, Chevron, Bayer and more
Secret scoring system works like this
Eightfold’s tools allegedly generate a “Match Score” or “likelihood of success” score from 0 to 5 for applicants
Low-scoring candidates are often automatically filtered out automatically before any human recruiter sees their application
The AI supposedly uses extensive data collections and aggregates far more than just your resume and over letter. This includes:
- Social media profiles (e.g., LinkedIn)
- Location and history data
- Internet activity including web searches
- Other third-party tracking data, the suit mentions vast datasets with 1.5+ billion data points
There is no transparency or recourse
Applicants allegedly aren’t notified, given a chance to review/correct the data, or informed of adverse actions
The plaintiffs argue violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and California’s Investigative Consumer Reporting Agencies Act
This should definitely be banned
The NY Fed just dropped new consumer data and the math explains why everyone is broke.
Inflation expectations just jumped to 3.7%, but the actual breakdown is wild. They expect rent to go up 8.3% this year and healthcare to jump 9.4%.
Meanwhile, average salary growth is stuck at 3%.
You can't even budget your way out of that. Your bills are literally growing three times faster than your paycheck.
He was burning alive, yet he kept re-entering the burning Bradley Fighting Vehicle until all six soldiers and the Iraqi interpreter were safe. Burns covered 72% of his body. His first words were, ‘How are my boys?’ He died three weeks later. It took 16 years for him to receive the Medal of Honor. HIS NAME IS SERGEANT FIRST CLASS ALWYN C. CASHE, NEVER FORGET!!!
In 1975, there were 13 Puerto Rican parrots left on Earth. Every one of them lived in a single patch of rainforest on a 35-mile-long island.
The species had fallen from an estimated million birds when Columbus arrived in 1493. Five centuries of deforestation, hunting, and habitat loss had compressed the entire wild population of the only native parrot in the United States into one small forest in the Luquillo Mountains.
The US Fish and Wildlife Service began a captive breeding program at El Yunque in 1973 before the last birds were gone.
The work was painstaking: collecting eggs from wild nests, hand-rearing chicks, releasing birds back into the forest, installing nest boxes where old hollow trees no longer existed, managing predation from pearly-eyed thrashers competing for nest cavities, treating disease outbreaks in a population with almost no genetic buffer.
By 2017, there were roughly 200 wild parrots spread across three forest sites. Then Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico on September 20, 2017, two weeks after Hurricane Irma. The storms shredded the canopy at El Yunque. Of the 56 wild birds living there before the storm, one survived.
The program restarted. Birds were released again. Wild pairs began nesting again.
As of 2025, there are approximately 250 wild Puerto Rican parrots alive across three forest sites, with another 469 in captive breeding aviaries. The wild population is breeding on its own and producing chicks that have never been inside an aviary.
Wilson: I guarantee you there are 10 reporters in D.C. right now who know exactly what Mitch McConnell’s medical status is. Maybe more.
They’re not reporting it.
We know from people who are very clear that he’s in a certain rehab wing for acute cardiac failure, all this stuff, at the hospital. He is alive. Our source is not able to say if he’s conscious or cogent.
I don’t think the magical 20-minute conversations about Mitch McConnell—you know, “He’s perfectly fine”—are real. I think we’re going to find out all that was a lie because they want to run out the clock on the special election question in Kentucky.
If I’m Andy Beshear, brother, just declare the election. And if they want to prove that Mitch McConnell is alive and well, go do it. But that is not something I think they can prove.
When Joe Biden’s health scares started to mount up, we had 24-hour-a-day coverage. It never stopped. They were beating the White House down every single day about it.
When the July 7 debate happened in 2024, that was a clock that went off because the media drove the story. They pushed and pushed and pushed. They turned over every rock.
We don’t see that coverage about Trump. We don’t see that coverage about McConnell.
