I’m quoted in this fantastic article “used in isolation may minimise the numerous challenges of the cancer experience. It is about allowing people affected by cancer to choose how they speak about their experience.” Would love to hear others’ perspectives! https://t.co/QZGHAADoeG

Most people think that Long Covid is a lingering cough & bit of fatigue.
I’ve felt flu-like & concussed every time I train for the last 3 years.
For context, I’m a former GB athlete, who trained 3 times a day.
And I’m a mild case...
Congratulations to our Round 1, 2023 Early-Mid Career Researcher 🌱Seed Grant 🌱recipients @HerisChristina, Samantha Howe, @MccarterKristen and @KylieMorphett! 👏We are looking forward to supporting these important projects!
University of Newcastle Vice-Chancellor Alex Zelinsky took a $70,000 pay rise last year, taking his salary to near $1 million.
At the same time the university recorded a $38 million deficit, had to pay $6.2 million back in wage theft and have been trying to ram through a real wage cut for staff.
Well well well... @Uni_Newcastle management can afford a 7% pay rise to the VC's already exorbitant salary but somehow can't afford to give workers a pay rise for two years
Join us at #UONStrike tomorrow to demand fair pay for staff!
