@Adopt_classroom I greet them everyday with a smile just for them. I let them know how happy in my classroom and that I can’t wait to see them tomorrow! #LoveLearningChat
@Adopt_classroom Let them know mistakes are part of the process! I model my thinking when I make a mistake! “Oh wow, I made a mistake. That doesn’t look right. I need to try again. Maybe I should ask for help!” This is just an example! But I do it all the time! #LoveLearningChat
@Adopt_classroom My PreK students haven’t been many places in public. They don’t go to libraries, church, the mall, have play dates…They have to learn how to be around peers! #LoveLearningChat
@Adopt_classroom I learned to keep all activities, lessons, and projects for my students developmentally appropriate! I do not compare myself with other teachers and my students with other classes. We are unique! #LoveLearningChat
@Adopt_classroom I tell my students’ parents to read to their kids, have conversations, point out letters/colors/numbers when they drive. Play games, go on walks, just spend time together not in technology! #LoveLearningChat
@Adopt_classroom It means I don’t stop learning myself! I just competed my Master’s degree and I am constantly seeking out PD opportunities that will benefit my students. I also follow other quality educators on social media and use a lot of their ideas! #LoveLearningChat
@Adopt_classroom My PreK students need items to support their SEL, motor skills, and sensory needs. Books, therapy putty, dolls, puppets, games, ect. #LoveLearningChat
