Imagine living in a country where everything about #Islam is prohibited. You cannot pray, wear #Hijab or fast during the month of Ramadan.

You flee that country and go abroad to a Muslim country where you hope to feel safe and practise Islam freely. You enrol at a prestigious Islamic university.

Few years later, the authorities detain you and forcibly deport you back to the country you fled from.

This is what happened to #Uyghur Muslims!

In 2017, 60+ Uyghur Muslim students of Al-Azhar University in #Egypt were arrested and deported to #China by the Sisi regime at China's behest.

In the video, one Uyghur brother detained says:

"Here it is brothers, we have about 70 to 80 Uyghurs here, we all have been caught by the Arabs (Egyptian police and intelligence), May Allah keep us all safe, inshaAllah."

Their whereabouts are unknown! They most likely have been tortured and sent to concentration camps across East Turkestan where they are forced to denounce Islam.

The #Uyghurs have been betrayed and abandoned by Muslim governments.
